To them ... (Part 3)

I don't meant to say this but, after the direct and indirect criticism of the higher and former admins, I'm sick of their verdicts.

You know, in my view, you were still a bunch of hopefuls who have the potential to be as successful as them or even overrun them. My year doesn't pick you guys just because of nothing, it's because you have the 'thing' that wowed us to pick you guys. You were given a status higher than normal mates sharing the same age with you guys. You were given a leading advantage to win over some other mates in the activities. You were the promising stars of us who can do something better than us.

Since when you guys were so slumpy and not working hard enough whether in competitions or administrations. In the eyes of the admins, you guys were rated 'hopeless' and 'Chicken Little (in the case of the final round of the baseball game, if you understand)'. You weren't active as well, not helping out in the activities that doesn't contribute marks/competition. You were holding the posts for fun for the whole semi-year, while getting messy when organising an activity.

Well, it all stops here now.

I know that you guys are going to take the public exam in months later and you are definitely going to prioritise the exam comparing to other activities. Well, note that some of you guys are totally derailed of activities.

I thought some of you might be scared by the nightmare happened last year end ... and get the phobia and demoralised regarding competitions. I know some of you guys didn't met the expectations of the admins and therefore (refuse to further elaborate on it).

Guys, I don't care how successful or unsuccessful your first attempt was, I don't care how demoralised were you, also I don't care whatever relationships you have among mates, but I want you to know that the admins were shaking heads and don't think that you guys are going to be as successful as them. As you know, the qualities are slipping away admins by admins, and I have no idea how the crashing process will go on if you guys still behaving like that.

You lost some, but we do lost some (that I gone depressed for the whole night after the hard work doesn't pay off). Remember, things like competitions can be defied if you got the 'mmph' - determination - to keep working, even if you lost. You'll can AND will win it if you keep on working hard on your skills to make it as perfect as possible.

What I expect from you guys is that, after the public exam, you guys are going to train hard and efficiently for the coming competitions. Never ever give up in the training. Get some extra help from us/current admins if necessary. Get together to talk about training stuffs but please be relaxed to talk about other topics that all of you can get involved (at least try). I don't care where are you seating during recess, but I want you guys to be together during activities and discuss serious matters (get relaxed sometimes, don't be too stressed anyway). Wow the admins that you guys ain't scraps, but worthy pieces of platinum.

It doesn't matter that how well are you guys are in any skills, because it's not going to be enough time/energy to learn all of them. It's about getting the basic things absolutely right and never get messed up each time when you are performing the same skill.

Another thing, you guys are already in the middle of your life as a secondary school student. Please be a more matured person and don't get tired so quickly because you are male teens that are just undergoing the puberty process. Bear the pain especially during physical training, it's going to give you guys an extra push to practical skills that requires stamina and strength (I didn't mean to train like a bodybuilder, but you are welcome to do so if you wish).

In conclusion, my advice to you guys, 'Toughen up, young lads. You are just entering the sparking moment of your secondary school life, it all comes down to this. So, you guys get prepared and get out there and prove that you are the Dream Team in history with uttermost strength physically and mentally'

That's all. I really do hope that you can break the verdict of the admins later. Well, I never lose faith on you guys after all ...

The Math and Science Subjects Taught In English Initiative Rejected

I cannot believe I'm back here to do some trash-talking here. I should be siting for that big exam and hoping for the A+ grades to show up on my report card next year. Recent 4 days of the big exam has just made candidates of this exam like me spot some awkward bloopers - did not tell every candidate for the particular pusat that there is a correction on the question which will affect the answers written, invigilators helping students to 'cheat', papers changed set altogether due to the so-called leak, hung questions that does not indicate what actually the question want to ask ...... (and many, many more that I'm damn lazy to list out) Hey, snap it. This is the big exam, and these types of mistakes still occur? If it happened damn seldomly, that can be considered a small blooper, but frequent awkward mistakes will really make this exam look like they just lost their royality as one of the major exams in my country. The (considered, from the point of view of education...

The Scumbug Brain

Disclaimer: 'Brain' is kinda used interchangeably with 'mind', with the operational meaning leaning towards the 'mind'. This post is meant to indicate how contradicting a mind might be, especially when criticising itself (I have no scientific evidence though). It's not well-written, but err ... bear with it, okay? I believe that every single humans have one important organ that basically regulates and controls a lot of things happening physiologically, mentally and psychologically known as the brain (Yup, even the so-called 'no-brainers'). I also do, and probably like a lot of people, I have a pretty weird brain which generates thoughts (whether suppressible or not) in which sometimes we adhere to, felt annoyed to, or even just feeling neutral, letting the thought pass by like clouds. Well, let me try describe my brain (therefore trying to play chess with it, too). It seemed awkward when I'm writing this blog post with the help of the b...

My First Overseas Trip (#5) - San Francisco (Part 2: Airport Encounter)

After we left the custom, we went straight ahead to the baggage claim hall, where we must claim our bags and possibly make a transit baggage transfer for our remaining flights. Since the Cathay Pacific Airlines cannot help us to do the transit (my mom went furious about that, jumping up and down for that case), we had to pull our luggage anywhere we go until the check-in time for the next flight arrives. As we're leaving the baggage claim hall, we were deciding to spend the half-day wisely. We decided to take breakfast first before any activities. We went to the departure terminal from the international terminal. We actually can make it by walking towards the terminal, but we decided to take the airtram anyway. I thought that the climate of the airport was not that freezing (because we felt warm in the airport), but later realised that was an illusion. It's quite damn freezing cold even it's 10.30 am in the morning, as we walked out of the terminal and to the statio...
